Omar Mustapha (Managing Principal & Director)

Prior to rejoining the firm (which he co-founded in 2002) in February 2006, Omar served as Special Assistant to the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia on economic, corporate sector and foreign policy matters. He brings with him over 12 years experience in the Malaysian corporate and government sectors, has an in-depth understanding of Malaysia’s public policy process, and an extensive network of senior level contacts in both Government and the corporate sector. 

Prior to Ethos, Omar was a Senior Associate with McKinsey & Company Inc. based in London and Kuala Lumpur. He has served multinational clients in the telecoms, energy, media, retail, banking and government sectors in Asia, the Middle East and Europe, on issues of corporate strategy, performance management, organisational performance and post merger management. In his consulting career, he has led a number of significant client engagements with key ministries, government agencies, government-linked companies and multinational corporations operating in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. 

Omar is a graduate of Oxford University where he obtained his BA (Hons) and MA degrees in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. He is an active member of the ISIS Malaysia network, and was formerly the Director General and Board Member of the Pacific Basin Economic Council (PBEC) Malaysia Committee and senior staffer to the Chair of the Malaysia APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC). 

Natasha Kamaluddin (Principal & Director)

Natasha has more than 10 years experience serving as Consultant to large multinational and Malaysian organizations, in both the public and private sector. She is experienced in performance management, large scale process reengineering and programme management, as well as public policy. 

Natasha has deep expertise in Strategy development and identifying / analyzing Strategic Options to meet a particular objective. She has conducted a Strategic Options analysis for a major listed GLC venturing into a new business segment, developed the growth strategy for a MNC, and conducted a Strategy Review for a number of other GLC clients. She has led Strategy Mapping and Key Performance Indicators projects for 6 GLCs. 

Prior to joining Ethos, Natasha was a Manager at Accenture in Kuala Lumpur where she served public and private sector clients on large scale Programme Management, Business Process Improvements and ICT systems implementation. She has worked with various public sector clients including the Education Ministry, MARA and ICU.

Natasha graduated with a BA and MA in Economics (1st class) from Cambridge University, UK.

Danny Chee (Principal & Director)

Danny has 9 years experience serving corporate and government clients in Malaysia, Singapore and London. His area of expertise is in strategy development, business planning, transformation management and performance management.

At Ethos, Danny has led engagements for clients from the transportation, utility, plantations, retail, property, education and technology sectors. He has worked along side several GLCs in their implementation of strategy and GLC transformation initiatives, providing them the necessary tools and frameworks. Danny also has deep experience in KPI implementation and has in-depth knowledge of KPI implementation at most of the largest Malaysian GLCs.

Prior to Ethos, Danny served with the regional Financial Risk Management practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deutsche Bank London and Ernst Young London. In these companies he focused on risk management, compliance and capital markets. He has served and led on many client engagements in the banking, utilities, transportation and public sector in London, Singapore and Malaysia. 

Danny graduated with a BSc. in Accounting & Finance from Warwick University and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW).
